Class Explanations
To allow for
NEW classes, not all listed classes are offered every term.
Classes are open to adults and children over 12 years. All of our classes are hand on providing you with all the materials required to complete the project being taught. You can start with the basics and follow on learning all about different designs for cards, scapbooking and about many other exciting new techniques.
Each class is limited to a maximum of 6 people so each person can receive personal attention.

| Ideas to make the most of a single music stamp. A quick background technique, a little paint, and a dramatic finish plus one stamp to produce 3 designs with very different looks. Inks and a jigsaw puzzle, Twinkling H2O￢ﾀﾙs to paint and sophistication plus, will set the theme for ideas using a single stamp showcasing three fantastic designs. | Some very easy techniques can produce wonderful backgrounds that can set the tone for colour and easy stamping. We will create a colour pallet of tone on tone and multi colour backgrounds using a variety of mediums and sponging techniques. Learn a little more about how to use chalk ink pads and how to juggle a rainbow of colour using the 'Kaleidacolor' range of ink pads. You will take home some very unique ideas and projects.

| A little bit of this and a little bit of that. This class will give you a taste of three different techniques. Paper quilling is an easy and fun way to make that very impressive special occasion card. A 'punch art' rose comes from the heart and will convey loving sentiments. Then, not to forget our treasured stamps - Hero Arts have inspired us to create a three-dimensional floral card with their versatile design blocks. Your only problem after this class will be trying to choose your favourite.

| In our busy lives we donﾾﾒt get enough time to stop and look at that bird sitting quietly in the tree, the antics of a frog in a pond or flowers beginning to bud. But, in this class you will have the opportunity to enjoy the simple wonders of nature. With the help of natural papers and earthy ink tones we will create three cards that display the joys of creatures great and small.

| Let's play with embossing powders - sticky embossing powder, mixing embossing powders, resist and Batik embossing powder effects. We will experiment with layers of embossing and what we can do with sticky powder and gold leaf. With a never ending range of fantastic new designs in stamps by 'Darkroom Door' and 'Inkadinkado' you will be amazed at the effects you will achieve. Colours of midnight, a sprinkle of morning dew and metallic delights will set the scene for these three fantastic designs.

| Winter is upon us and that means cold winds, freezing days and lots of rain (or at least we hope to get lots of rain this winter). Brighten someone's day with a cheery card that wishes them a speedy recovery from the winter chills, tells them that you are thinking of them and that you hope they feel better soon. The 'resist' technique, the 'emboss' technique and just the 'really nice' technique will all be used in this class to make three wonderful cards to give that warm fuzzy feeling to all those who receive them.
