Class Explanations
To allow for
NEW classes, not all listed classes are offered every term.
Classes are open to adults and children over 12 years. All of our classes are hand on providing you with all the materials required to complete the project being taught. You can start with the basics and follow on learning all about different designs for cards, scapbooking and about many other exciting new techniques.
Each class is limited to a maximum of 6 people so each person can receive personal attention.

CATHY Class 1. ABC of CARDS- NEW | 2.5 hours $35.00 |

| This is a great class for someone just starting out in paper craft or for anyone who needs to go back to the basics. You will learn some useful tips on how to use stamps, ink pads, embossing powders, glitter, punches and how to choose the perfect embellishment. You will also learn how to match and combine papers giving you the ability to go home and create until your heart is content.

| If you enjoy using distress ink pads, like playing with colour and want to make a range of elegant cards for any occasion, then this class will be perfect for you. Using easy techniques, delicate colours and a vintage style we will create very pretty cards.

| Over two classes I will take you on a journey and a challenge of completing twelve designs within a shadow box picture frame. The main theme in this project will be stamped images all based on 'things with wings'. Each panel will showcase an image on a background created with watercolour crayons, embossing and resist techniques. A touch of 3D and a delicate shimmer will create a look of movement and flight. Each section of this frame can be reproduced as a single card. This class is for anyone that would like to take their card making skills to a different level. Monday 7pm class 27/2 & 26/3 - Saturday 1pm class 18/2 & 10/3.

| Paper on Paper returns this year with a striking colour scheme. Get the most out of the 'paper on paper' technique by effectively using a patterned paper, decorative stamps and simple embellishments to create a stylish set of six cards for all occasions.

| With Hero Arts release of the new 'stamp and emboss' set we will create a variety of cards with the one embossing folder and stripe background stamp. Come and see the value you can get from just one set as we create four cards, all with very different looks.

| I can't wait to show you these Telescope cards - a fabulous design that twists and turns to easily fit into an envelope and yet expands to show a variety of designs. We will be using stamps, embossing and cutting templates and various embellishments to create two cards, one for the men and one for the ladies.

| A 'tag' can be just so much more. It can simply be an embellishment to a gift or somewhere to write 'To' and 'From'. Then a 'tag' can also be the feature of your card - to show off a design or your favourite paper. Come along and see how much more a tag can really be.

| This class is about more than just cards. We will use three newly released stamp sets to create a magnet, a gift card and a maybe even a bookmark and don't forget . . . some cards as well. If you like variety, then this is the class for you.

| Welcome to a new year of hope and wonder. I hope that you all have had a relaxing break and are now ready for the fun and frivolity that is card making with like minded people. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for making my debut year with the Bellbird Team a really happy one. Your patience and encouragement has been awesome. This term, I thought that we could look at a variety of cards that use different or unusual score folds. I hope that you will join me again, for a few laughs, a cuppa and the wonderful escape that is paper craft - making cards.
